Our Story

The year is 2021, what began as a simple goat-eating ceremony among five close friends in one of our founder’s compounds turned into something bigger than any of us imagined. We were just a group of friends who wanted to meet monthly, share laughter, and support one another through a small merry-go-round.

As we grew together, we realized that this was more than just friendship, it was the seed of something meaningful. A year later, we scribbled down our first set of rules to give our group structure. Soon after, we introduced table banking, and what started as a casual get-together began to take shape as a community with a shared financial purpose.

By 2024, with a quorum of 18 committed members, we took a bold step: we officially registered as a SACCO. That was the birth of Let’s Talk Sacco a cooperative built on trust, unity, and the spirit of growth.

Today, we are 17 dedicated founders and a growing membership community, united not just by financial savings and affordable credit, but also by a deeper mission: to give back to the environment. We are on a journey to plant 100,000 trees, combining financial empowerment with environmental conservation.
